- Bang Bang is a part Espionage Thriller, part Bollywood Revenge Drama, part Musical, part Romantic Comedy, and full Global Action Adventure that not just excels in its parts, but is also riveting as a whole. An official remake of 'Knight and Day' - this is a movie that will surely seem like a knight in shining armor for the adrenaline junkie awaiting a prince charming.
Plot :
Storyline :
Hrithik Roshan plays Rajveer, a charming yet mysterious man who lives on an edge and messes with the baddies all over. Not for his own fun but to safeguard a 'Kohinoor'. On his verge he meets Harleen Sahni (Katrina Kaif) an innocent bank receptionist, who is charmed by his good looks and his exquisite style of dealing with the hazardous situations. The more she meets him, the more she gets into the entire chaos and trouble, which Rajveer takes along with him. However, she is unaware about the causes of such mayhem. Is Rajveer trustworthy or is he just using Harleen for his own purpose? Watch out to find it, amidst massive car chases, open shoot-outs, and other breath-taking stunts.
Cast :
Hrithik Has just nailed it.No one can match his aura .Hrithik Roshan looks like a Greek God. He has taken off his shirt in a number of scenes and his bare torso is to die for. He acts wonderfully, dances excellently and is unbelievably agile in the action sequences. It wouldn't be wrong to say that he has surpassed himself in the two song-dances.
Katrina Kaif looks very pretty and also delivers an excellent performance. Her sense of timing in comic scenes is lovely.
Danny is superb in every scenes.Danny Denzongpa as a bad man once is frightful.
Jaaved Jaffrey, Kanwaljeet Singh, Deepti Naval, Pawan Malhotra, or the delicious Dadi spice up proceedings with measured performances that meet the need of the hour aptly.
Direction :
Director Siddharth Anand did a fabulous job he made a remake not a copy-paste & to be true Bang Bang looks better than the original one.. & the credit of that goes to him He directed superbly Not a single sec u gonna feel bore.. there was not even a single scene which was not required & for that credit goes to him as well as to the editing team
Music :
Vishhal-Shekhar did a fantastic job & music supports the movie truly specially the background score
Action :
One of the best action movie of all time in Bollywood . They spent money like water & they made truly fabulous action sequences.. & to be true Without Hrithik Roshan those action sequences wasn't possible at all
Verdict : 3/5
Conclusion :
Without giving too much away, I would like to summarize this as an apt action adventure film with tremendous production values, some foot tapping music (Vishal Shekhar), and outstanding choreography by Bosco-Cesar (especially Tu Meri and the title song - Bang Bang that pops up during the credits). Low on emotions, high on action, and about average on originality and recall value - this is a movie that starts and ends with a Bang and when it does, you might just say to Hrithik "Thank you Man!"
On the whole, Bang Bang! is a good movie because it offers entertainment galore and has something for everyone. It will break a lot of box-office records.
