Education for all ? Maybe or Maybe Not - By Gaurav Srivastava

                                                   EDUCATION
                                            A Article By Gaurav Srivastava

Education... when one says that every one must get the education, the prime thing which comes to our mind is a image of a child studying in a class, a child turning into a student. But is it always about study...??
Think of a class comprising of 80-100 students. All get the same education, same books, same clothes, same teachers, same environments... everything same... but is there result also the same?

Review : It is not Memento, it is not The Dark Knight, it is not Inception. It is Interstellar.

Plot :

In the near future Earth has been devastated by drought and famine, causing a scarcity in food and extreme changes in climate. When humanity is facing extinction, a mysterious rip in the space-time continuum is discovered, giving mankind the opportunity to widen their lifespan. A group of explorers must travel beyond our solar system in search of a planet that can sustain life. The crew of the Endurance are required to think bigger and go further than any human in history as they embark on an interstellar voyage, into the unknown. Coop, the pilot of the Endurance, must decide between seeing his children again and the future of the human race.

Cast :

  Matthew Mcconaughey :
Matthew Mcconaughey's acting is good, but nothing stellar, especially coming off the best acting role of his career. He plays the character like it should be played, but Nolan's characters never being truly drawn out or rounded does not help him any.

 Anne Hathaway :
Anne Hathaway gave a stunning emotional performance as the flawed Bland.

 Jessica Chastain
Jessica Chastain has a few strong moments as well.Jessica gave the best performances without a doubt. There is a scene regarding her character breaking down which will definitely make your eyes water.

The supporting cast all do justice to the movie too

Direction :

Mr. Nolan. Don't just look at Nolan, but look at his films. Some say Inception would be his masterpiece, while others would say it's The Dark Knight, or Memento. But honestly, every single film Christopher Nolan has directed is a masterpiece not of its genre, but of Nolan. Following is his quiet masterpiece, not the film that put Mr. Nolan on the map as a phenomenal director, but one people visited or revisited after becoming accustomed to Nolan, after seeing Memento, what could be called his breakout masterpiece. Then, right after, he directed the remake of the Norwegian thriller, Insomnia. This, too, could be considered a masterpiece, even if a remake. Then, we were given his take on the Batman universe, starting with Batman Begins, the origin masterpiece. Then, there's The Prestige, adapted from the novel of the same name, which can be called his dark masterpiece. The Dark Knight, his bold masterpiece; Inception, his complex masterpiece, and The Dark Knight Rises, his flawed masterpiece. Now, we have Interstellar, his emotional or personal masterpiece..
The script of the film is very well combined the history of space exploration and the relationship between Cooper and Murph. The story is complex and complicated, is based on real scientific theories by Kip Thorne, and indeed contains a reference to the "Space Odyssey" and other sci-fi pictures. This story about true love, about loyalty, forgiveness, fraud, hard decisions, and much more. And it is designed so that leaves a lot of room for the imagination of the viewer. It's also possible to notice some structure allusion to another Nolan's work - Inception. The story and visuals are combined just perfectly in Interstellar.

Music :

Interstellar is itself a crescendo, increasing sensitivity and creativity. I use the term deliberately because it goes crescendo with the soundtrack by Hans Zimmer, which is one of the most beautiful music ever scored for a sci-fi movie. We are witnessing a perfect musical arrangement, a total symbiosis, a bit like the music of Gravity which had understood very well how to match the image and the rhythm of a sequence to its own musicality. Zimmer's crescendos are giving a new powerful breath to every new scene, whether it is in visually powerful & intense moments or in more intimate moments; it intrudes into our momentary feelings and sensations, and manages to extend them, sometimes almost to choking, before resting on the balance of the film frame along with our mind spell-bounded.

Verdict : 4.5 /5

Conclusion :

Overall, I think that this movie should be seen in theaters on the big screen if you have the chance. It was a true experience. Be sure to be attentive and to clear your bladder first though. It will make you think. At times it might make you check your watch, but please endure and you will be treated to one of the most intriguing films of all time. Even if you think you didn't like the film, there is no doubt that you will be thinking about the contents of the plot and beauty of the visuals long after the credits roll

Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro is priced at Rs 32,999 .

Review :

Pros :
1. The 6 inch QHD screen is impressively amazing. The bezels are so thin and make the phone look super cool.
2. The build of the phone is of premium looks. The phone is incredibly thin and the metallic feel complements it's overall style.
3. The snapdragon 801 chipset married to a 3 GB RAM makes scrolling through the UI and running various apps so lag free and fluid.
4. The camera is amazing ! Take my word for it. It's amazing.
5. The Vibe UI is cool. The wallpaper switching effect is cool.
5. It has a notification LED. I love notification LEDs.
6. The sound quality is good, though the bass seems to be a little less.
7. The phone has a mammoth battery of 4000 mA. And it lasts long. Really long.
8. I love the fact we can switch to stock android UI without having to root the phone. That's a really interesting feature.
9. Almost the apps we need come bundled. There's no much bloat-ware.
10. 4K video recording is crystal clear. Fantabulous !

Cons :
1. I wish it had an expandable memory slot. Especially because of its ability to record 4K videos, the memory would be full soon.
2. I wish the second SIM slot was 3G enabled. (Too much to ask?, maybe...)
3. I wish the earphones that came bundled were of a more premium quality.
4. The rear camera juts out of the body a bit. That's of some concern as the glass can get scratches soon.

Happy New Year - Visually stunning HNY is a great Entertainer

Main Hoona Na and Om Shanti Om (both the films directed by Farah Khan) are considered one of the most entertaining bollywood films. And after Farah's Tees Maar Khan's debacle, she is back with her new outing HAPPY NEW YEAR which was supposed to be made in 2005 but was later shelved! Will it be SRK's another Ra.one or will it be into the lists of the most entertaining films?

Plot :

This is the ultimate underdog story where a team of 'losers' win the love of millions in their quest to pull off the biggest diamond heist ever!
Charlie(ShahRukh Khan) is planning to rob some diamonds from Charan Grover(Jackie Shroff) for a specific reason(Watch the movie and you will get to know) with help of his 5 friends. But to rob him he has to take part in World Dance Championship! The plot looks so simple and you might be thinking such a simple plot but a very long film? Well apart from the plot the movie has many other things to offer!

Cast :

ShahRukh Khan rocks in the film! His dialogue delivery, especially during the emotional moments is fantastic!

Deepika Padukone as Mohini has done a good job as a bar dancer cum dancer teacher cum a WINNER!

Boman Irani as a middle aged Parsi chick magnet is funny

Abhishek comes out as a surprise in this movies, having had string of annoying performances after Guru.

Vivaan Shah as Rohan, has done a cool job as a hacker but needs a bit grooming though a good talent found.

Direction :

Farah Khan has directed a heist film without any blood and gore or love making scene, which is in itself an achievement, because family audiences were looking for such a film with GREAT production values for a very long time! I guess last one was...Ah! Very few! And I should say a film doesn't need a kissing scene to make it impressive for the youth because I am 18 and I watch movies with my family! I didn't need to look down for any scene in the film! I didn't hear a single word of disgust from my parent like 'Is that what you surf or watch on Internet'. I applaud Farah for that.

Music :

Music by Vishal-Shekhar will grow inside you and grows to max after watching the movie. India-Waale and Manwa-laage already topping the charts, I think Satakli will grow slowly within the people. My pick of the lot is Satakli and Manwa-Laage.

Verdict : 2.5/5

Conclusion :

Despite usual clichés, HAPPY NEW YEAR excels as a film! With great production values, heart warming moments, good Music, good story, good direction, this is a film Audience(especially families) were looking for and Here it is. Happy New year is a fun watch! Recommended!
