How To Bypass Lockscreen running iOS 8.0.2 on iPhone ,iPad & iPod Touch

A new lock screen bypass has been discovered in iOS 8 that allows anyone to certain action with the help of siri . The shocking part about this bypass is that it can be done in under five seconds. This isn’t the first time that lock screen security on iOS has been compromised, but this does require very specific conditions in place in order to work. It’s a silly game Apple plays, how can there be so many bypass methods in iOS to date? iOS 3.1.3 was the very first iOS to have its own passcode lock bypass, then 6.1, 6.1.2, 6.1.3, 7.0.1, 7.0.2, 2 on 7.1.1, 8.0 & 2 on 8.0.2.

This latest iOS 8.0.2 bypass discovered by me uses siri to access emails, text messages when restricted and post to twitter when restricted also. You can read emails, see all emails and even send emails where you couldn’t before with a passcode. This is my 2nd bypass I have discovered and it is really starting to surprise me just how many flaws there are in iOS 8. While not as severe as previous bypass methods, this one does give any potential thief access to emails & messages between people.

In order to try this for yourselves you’ll just need a sim eject tool. That’s it, all it takes to access private data. Simply ask siri one of the following commands.
“Siri, read me all my messages”
“Send an email”
“Show me all of my emails”
“Read me my latest email”

Now of course, siri will ask for a passcode. Just click cancel and eject the sim card. Make sure WiFi has been disabled (If notification sensor is disabled, just ask siri to disable wifi). Now slightly modify the text by clicking edit text and re insert the sim. Once service has been re established with the carrier, click done and watch as siri gives you access to that once password protected information.

How To Protect :
To protect yourselves from the iOS 8.0.2 bypass, simply open passcode settings and disable siri on the lockscreen until Apple is to release the next firmware. iOS 8.1 is affected for now but will probably be patched in the next iOS 8.1 beta.
Obviously, this isn’t an acceptable/permanent solution, but it will put a stop to the above method until Apple pushes out an update to patch it. The bad news is, we’ve also tested this on iOS 8.1 beta 1 and fortunately it does apply. Hope Apple will fix this Glitch in the next upcoming update.
